PSERC Research Advances Grid Reliability Around the World
Research led by Dr. Mani Venkatasubramanian of Washington State University and supported by PSERC continues to improve the reliability and resilience of electric power systems worldwide. His team’s work on power system oscillation monitoring has contributed to major grid initiatives, including the synchronization of Ukraine’s power grid with Continental Europe and the technical analysis of the 2025 Spain and Portugal grid incident.
